FOOD DRIVE AND LOOSE CHANGE COLLECTION SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 14TH!
To all of those who contribute to the Food Drive and Heifer Fund Loose Change Collection, it has been decided to wait until the March collection Sunday to collect again. Hopefully, we will be out of the cold, snow and ice by then and can safely collect to help our neighbors. Please mark you calendars to contribute on Sunday, March 14th! Have a great day and thanks for all your help!
Sermon for February 21, 2021!
Good morning! Wow, what a cold and crisp morning! At 6:30 this morning, it was a very cold 16 degrees here in Passapatanzy! I have to say I’m looking forward to warmer weather but I am thankful to the Lord that I’m able to wake up and get around to enjoy this morning as well! Please stay safe. Watch out for ice – remember if it looks wet it is probably black ice until the temperatures warm up! Now let’s start our week off right with a new sermon from Pastor Barry…
Sermon for February 14, 2021!
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are all safe and sound this morning. If you look outside this morning you may see what looks like a postcard! We got some snow this week with some ice after that creating a winter postcard look with the trees. Please stay safe this week! And now let’s enjoy a new sermon this morning!
IMPORTANT NEWS BULLETIN! FOOD DRIVE AND LOOSE CHANGE COLLECTION CANCELLED FOR TOMORROW!
Due to the icy weather forecast for today and tonight, we are CANCELLING the Food Drive and Loose Change Collection scheduled for tomorrow! We will announce, both here and on Facebook, when the new date has been set. Sorry for any inconvenience but we feel we must err on the side of caution! We don’t want anyone to get hurt driving to the Church tomorrow to deliver food and/or change. Thanks to all and we will get back with you soon with a new date once the weather predictions have calmed down.
NEXT SUNDAY Feb 14th: FOOD DRIVE & LOOSE CHANGE COLLECTION: DRIVE BY—DROP OFF
Here is another opportunity for us to safely get involved in a food drive and at this time we will also collect for our Loose Change Offering for the Heifer Project. Next Sunday, Feb 14th, we will be collecting food in the church parking lot.
If you have any Loose Change that you would like to send to the Heifer fund, you can also drop it off at the same time!
You can drive by any time between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and drop off non-perishable food items as well as any change you want to contribute.
If you would like to contribute, but that time isn’t convenient, please contact Pastor Barry at (540) 625-2539. I’ll arrange to pick up the food at your convenience.
Please prayerfully consider what you can do; the need is great, and the resources are not. Be blessed.
Pastor Barry
