Apologies – Sermon July 10, 2022

Just wanted to let everyone know that the today’s sermon should be available by next Sunday or Monday. Due to our recording personnel being on vacation, they have not been available to do the upload. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Team Jeremiah will host Q&A session on July 12

You are invited to a conference-wide Q&A session on topics including General Conference and disaffiliation from the denomination on Tuesday, July 12 at 7 p.m.

Due to time constraints during the 2022 Annual Conference session, the Team Jeremiah Q&A session was not held. Bishop Lewis announced that the Q&A would be rescheduled within the next 30 days.

The July 12 Q&A session will be held through Zoom webinar. All questions need to be submitted in advance so the team can organize questions by topic. Questions will be accepted through this Google form until close of business on July 11.

The Q&A panel will include the Rev. Denise Bates, the Rev. Tom Berlin, Mrs. Martha Stokes, the Rev. Dr. Victor Gomez, Mr. David Dommisse, and Mr. John Fuller.

Registration is available at this link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_d0Baa6IOSjm4MjYz6DnSGA .

Participants should view Team Jeremiah’s full presentation and initial webinar Q&A from May 31 in advance to see if your question has already been covered.

The session will be recorded for later viewing. Should you have any questions, please contact Communications@vaumc.org.

Sermon for July 3, 2022!

Hello everyone! Please join me in greeting our new Pastor to Fletcher’s Chapel! Pastor Barbara Lewis has joined our Church with her first sermon being today. Please forgive the minor hiccups with the “AN ORDER FOR THE CELEBRATION OF AN APPOINTMENT” due to parts of it not getting copied in the bulletin correctly (I haven’t figured out how that happened yet). I apologize to both Pastor Barbara and John Radolinski for any problems created for them. However, with the exception of that, I believe you find a very good service this morning with an interesting sermon from Pastor Barbara. So, let’s get to it! Enjoy!
