I hope you have had a wonderful Palm Sunday! Even though the day was a little cool with the wind here in Passapatanzy, the day was a beautiful day! And we should be glad the Lord woke us up to see it. Even if we have aches and pains, at least we are here to enjoy the day and our families and friends. Please remember those in your prayers who have lost loved ones and/or who are dealing with sickness or other troubles today. Here is the link to today’s sermon to start your week out right:
Good evening! I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy this wonderful day the Lord blessed us with today! Never take a moment for granted! Enjoy your life, your friends and show your love in everything you do! We are not given a timetable on how long we will be here so always let your family and friends know how much you love them. And we can show love and mercy to those we meet every day, even strangers. Lend a helping hand wherever you can. God is always showing us how much he loves us by giving us the example to live by, so as Christians, we should show love as well. Have a blessed week! It’s almost here! As we start Spring tomorrow, and the days start to get a little warmer with new life all around, enjoy the beauty around us and the renewal of the season! God has blessed us with a new day and, even if it is a little cold today, we need to be thankful we are here to enjoy it and for all of the blessings he has bestowed on us. This week will see both cool days and warm days – it’s Spring you know, but start the day being thankful and you will find your day will go better. Have a great week! Hopefully, you all remembered to Spring Forward for Daylight Savings Time! It’s pretty chilly here in Passapatanzy, only 39 degrees! At least the winds have died down from yesterday. You know, we all talk and/or complain about the weather like we can actually do something about it by complaining! But, you know, God is the only one who can control Mother Nature and he surely knows more about what we need than any of us. Here is the link for today’s sermon:
Officially we move our clocks AHEAD 1 hour at 2:00am tomorrow morning but most of us aren’t up at 2:00am in the morning so we change them (at least those that don’t change themselves) when going to bed! Don’t forget to change yours tonight or you might miss most of the Sunday Morning services as you show up an hour late!
Well, we have started a new month! Spring is a beautiful time of year with all the new growth and flowers on the plants. It’s a time when all of God’s creations show off their beauty and how magnificent they are and reminds us how wonderful God is. How can anyone think God’s creations aren’t a sign of God is beyond me. As we move into March, look around and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature! Here is the link to yesterday’s sermon:
Each Wednesday evening, you are invited to join us in a Lenten Prayer Service at the church. The service will be about 30 minutes and will focus on a time of prayer and scripture. You do NOT need to be a member or even normally attend Fletcher’s to participate in this service. All are welcome!
Wow, another month almost gone! Time really does seem to fly sometimes! We should make the most of all of our days. So, as we start Lent and get ready to start Spring soon, remember to tell and show your love for others every day. Don’t fall into the “tomorrow” trap as we never know if we will have tomorrow with our loved ones. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us! I hope you all have a wonderful week and to start it off here is the link to yesterday’s sermon:
